Belgard® Hardscapes sponsors 2013 Coastal Living Showhouse

Words: David BenincasaFor the third year in a row, Belgard® Hardscapes is sponsoring the Coastal Living Showhouse displaying the versatility and style pavers can bring to outdoor living spaces and driveways. This year’s showhouse is located on Daniel Island in historic Charleston, S.C.

“We love being a part of the 2013 Coastal Living Showhouse because it gives visitors an opportunity to see how Belgard pavers can work well in any environment or setting, and especially for this coastal, beach town,” said Ken O’Neill, senior vice president of marketing for Belgard® Hardscapes.

Belgard Lafitt™ Rustic Slab pavers in a Limestone color can be found in the patio and Turfstone™ permeable pavers were selected for the driveway. Lafitt Rustic Slab features the look and texture of cut slate combined with the lasting strength and staying power that are hallmarks of Belgard pavers. Turfstone allows rainwater to gradually be filtered back into the soil naturally, resulting in the control and stabilization of soil erosion. Its eco-friendly design allows greenery to grow right through it, creating a highly unique hardscape design that works in harmony with nature, perfect for a coastal setting.

The 2013 Coastal Living Showhouse on Daniel Island will host weekly tours Wednesday through Sunday from June 28 to August 18, and Friday through Sunday from August 23 to October 20. The showhouse is expected to draw as many as 10,000 visitors from across the nation. Tickets are $15 per person with a portion of proceeds benefiting a local charity. Tickets are available for purchase on-site and online.
