ARA Foundation, ARA of Colorado donate to Colorado flood relief efforts

Words: Jennifer BaiceanuThe American Rental Association (ARA) of Colorado made a donation of $500 to the American Red Cross for assistance with flood relief efforts in that state. With matching funds from the ARA Foundation and an additional $2,500, voted on by the board of trustees, a total gift of $3,500 was given for disaster recovery in the area.

The disaster recovery program began in 2010 with the goal of offering assistance for rental businesses and their communities affected by a natural disaster. In the last year, this program has donated funds for relief and recovery efforts from Hurricane Sandy, the wild fire disasters in Arizona as well as the flooding in Alberta, Canada.
