“Homeowners expectations have been elevated remarkably in the last few years. The popularity of web sites and online communities about architecture, design, decorating and home improvements, have given homeowners exposure to outdoor designs from around the world,” said Paul Cimini, Director of Contractor Business Development. “Competitive contractors need to be prepared to offer and execute designs that may differ from their standard offerings.”

MAHTS continues to offer unique educational opportunities, including a live 2-day indoor arena build-out where attendees can watch and learn firsthand, the design-to-completion process of a next generation outdoor oasis.

Back by popular demand are our Hands-On classes, available in both English and Spanish, where attendees interact with instructors and materials; and the “Tool Playpen”, allows them to test drive new tools and equipment.

Business Owners can participate in the Roundtable Series. These discussion groups are intended to encourage a frank and open exchange of ideas between Industry Peers. Topics include, “Is the low-ball bid here to stay?” and “Can you charge for your designs?”

MAHTS attendees can expect the following benefits:
  • More than 35 educational classes
  • Various special events, including opportunities to win prizes, and networking cocktail receptions.
  • Continuing Education Credits for ICPI, NCMA, PLANET, and PCH
  • Great hotel rates negotiated for MAHTS attendees only
