Ninth annual HNA Awards now accepting entries

Words: Noneja BusinessHardscape North America is now accepting entries for the 9th Annual HNA Awards to be presented on Thursday, Oct. 20. The 2016 HNA Awards is part of HNA 2016 and is held at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

The HNA Awards recognize outstanding hardscape projects in all sizes in residential and commercial applications using a variety of products including concrete pavers, clay pavers and segmental retaining walls. The early bird deadline to submit entries is Monday, Aug. 15. Entries can be submitted on the HNA Website.

"This is always a very much anticipated time of the year as we get to see, firsthand, the great work that our contractor partners do across the country to raise awareness to the value added benefits that pavers contribute to a project," said Matt Lynch of Oldcastle, APG, ICPI chairman of the board. "The HNA Awards is the only national awards program that recognizes the hard work, product quality, craftsmanship and design capabilities of the stakeholders in our industry."

"We received a 2015 project award. It was truly an honor for our company to be recognized as a premier hardscape contractor in North America," said Past HNA Award winner Steven Stoltzfus, president of GoldGlo Landscapes. "This award gives us a tangible way to show clients our commitment to excellence in this industry. We are looking forward to returning to the project awards at HNA 2016."

The early bird entry fee, which goes until August 15, is $100 for members (ICPI, BIA or NCMA) and $200 for non-members. After this date, the entry fee will be $140 for members and $240 for non-members. Projects for consideration must have been completed between Nov. 1, 2012 and June 30, 2016.

Registration is an easy process and can be done quickly. Applicants can make the process even easier by beginning to take photos now as they finish projects.

The winning entries will be featured in Interlock Design magazine and other trade publications as well as on the HNA website at HardscapeNA.com.
