SAIA guidelines on purchasing inner access decks

Words: Laurie WeberThe SAIA Plank & Platform council revised the SAIA Guidelines on Purchasing Inner Access Decks (Hatch Decks). This updated document is part of the safety downloads available to the scaffold & access industry.

“This document is the fourth in a series of purchasing guidelines for various plank and platform products. Each of these documents covers criteria that should be considered when making purchasing decisions. The goal of each is to provide current and prospective purchasers with a tool to create meaningful dialogue with potential suppliers. Use of these guidelines can improve purchasing decisions by addressing physical/mechanical properties, manufacture, identification, literature, and manufacturer/supplier information”, said SAIA Plank & Platform Chair, Jeff Jack.
