Milwaukee® introduces new Staple & Nail Gun

Words: Katherine O'tooleMilwaukee Tool continues to deliver productivity-enhancing solutions to the professional tradesman with the introduction of a Staple & Nail Gun (48-22-1010) that provides up to 75% more driving power. Designed to work with T50* staples and 18 gauge brad nails for a wide range of applications, this new product will redefine durability and fastening expectations for the professional tradesman.

“When we talked to users about the staplers that are currently available on the market, three key frustrations continued to come up: 1) not enough power to completely drive staples in tough materials, 2) inconsistent driving angles that degrade performance, and 3) the need for users to carry additional tools with them to assist with pulling out staples or reseating them,” said Bobby Shaw, Director of Product Marketing, Milwaukee Tool. “As a result of our user-focused research, we set out to solve these common frustrations and have delivered a product that provides longer life and increased productivity to users across every trade.”

Designed with a dual-mode power switch, the Staple & Nail Gun is built to supply the power needed to drive staples flush into tough jobsite materials such as OSB, while allowing users to maintain control when stapling into more fragile or soft materials. In addition, a Tilt & Fire bevel on the front of the staple gun gives users the ability to fire and fully seat staples when the stapler is held at an awkward angle. An integrated staple puller eliminates the need to carry additional tools to the jobsite to assist with pulling and reseating staples.

Backed by legendary Milwaukee® durability, all-metal construction protects the stapler from weather and abusive job site conditions; while a recessed jam-free magazine and overmolded non-slip grip handle provide ultimate utility and safety.

For added functionality, a clear viewing window allows for easy identification of when more staples are needed and a wire form belt clip is included for storage convenience.

Available February 2015, the new Staple & Nail Gun comes with a limited lifetime warranty, and confirms Milwaukee’s commitment to best-in-class durability and their relentless commitment to provide innovative solutions to the end user that will increase productivity.
