Multiquip is now shipping new 185 CFM Air Compressor

Words: Jon AlbersonMultiquip Inc., a diverse manufacturer and supplier of world class quality products and solutions is pleased to announce it is now shipping its new air compressor.

The model DIS185SSI4F compressor, engineered to meet the needs of construction and equipment rental professionals, is powered by a 49 horsepower Isuzu diesel engine that meets EPA Tier 4 Final engine emissions.

"This new air compressor has been designed for durability and easy maintenance," said Ron Hoffman, Director of Sales. "The air tank has been e-coated to prevent common rust problems due to condensation. That extends the life of the air compressor and tools." There are also two-stage air filters for the engine and compressor. The fuel also goes through two-stage filtration with a manual primer. Large gullwing side doors with gas struts provide easy access to the engine and compressor.

The weather resistant steel housing is fully lockable for safe, unattended operation. A spacious, lockable internal tool box is large enough to store tools and hoses. The sound attenuated cabinet reduces engine noise during operation. A state of the art LED digital control panel displays the compressor temperature, fuel level, engine temperature and speed and also provides engine diagnostics. Large tires provide smooth, stable towing characteristics on the highway or on the job site.
