Celebrating 75 Years: The Mason Contractors Association of America

This year marks a significant milestone for the Mason Contractors Association of America as it celebrates its 75th anniversary. Founded in 1950, the MCAA has grown to become the premier National association for mason contractors, representing a diverse group of professionals dedicated to advancing the industry. Over the past seven and a half decades, the MCAA has played a pivotal role in promoting excellence in masonry, advocating for the interests of its members, and fostering a community that supports innovation.

 
 


The Genesis of The MCAA

The inception of the MCAA can be traced back to 1950, a time characterized by a booming construction industry in the United States. Recognizing the need for a unified voice to represent mason contractors and address their unique challenges, a man named George Miller decided to form an association. The mission was to create a platform that would not only support the business interests of its members but also enhance the standards and quality of masonry work across the nation.
