MCAA's GEORGE AI Helps Break Down Barriers: Industry Content Including MASONRY Magazine Now Available In Spanish

Words: Dan Kamys

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is proud to announce a groundbreaking achievement to support the masonry industry: the translation of its content into masonry-specific Spanish, made possible by the GEORGE AI system. This monumental step not only makes past and future content accessible to Spanish-speaking professionals but also marks a significant advancement in bridging language gaps within the industry $33 billion.

Jason Blake, MCAA's Director of Technology, added, "This achievement is a testament to the power of AI in overcoming language barriers. It's exciting to see how technology can unite the industry and make it more inclusive for everyone. This is a testament to the collaboration between our Technology and Content teams working to support the industry."

For years, translating complex masonry content into Spanish was a costly and challenging endeavor for the Association. However, with over a decade of masonry-specific human translations to use as a reference, the MCAA has successfully created a comprehensive masonry Spanish translation system. This is not just a simple translation; it is a tailored solution that reflects the unique terminology and nuances of the masonry industry.

"With GEORGE AI, we are democratizing knowledge by making complex documents and concepts more approachable and accessible," said Dan Kamys, Director of Content at the MCAA. "By closing the language barrier, we are empowering Spanish-speaking professionals to engage with our resources and contribute fully to the industry's growth."

Previous content is now available in Spanish, and all future content will be as well. Users can easily toggle between languages on each site, ensuring seamless access to information.

About Mason Contractors Association of America: The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is the national trade association representing mason contractors in the $33 billion industry. The MCAA is committed to preserving and promoting the trade by providing continuing education, advocating fair codes and standards, fostering a safe work environment, recruiting future manpower, and marketing the benefits of masonry materials.

About GEORGE: GEORGE is the Mason Contractors Association of America's proprietary, industry-specific Artificial Intelligence operating system. Built on the MCAA's experience serving as the masonry industry's focal point for over 75 years, it is designed to make the masonry industry more efficient than ever. GEORGE is a web-based experience that can run on any device through talk and/or type input. Its name is an homage to George Miller, the MCAA's first association executive. The Assistants within the GEORGE AI ecosystem and the outputs they provide are intended to be examples of capabilities and not to be trusted on their own without human review and/or modification. Once GEORGE AI leaves beta testing, information will be more reliable and trustworthy. AI is not perfect, so we will always recommend a human look over outputs prior to utilizing.
