MCAA's Fastest Trowel Competition Call to Contestants

Words: Colin Clampett/Public/News/10252004841.gif" width="300" height="200" border="1" align="right" hspace="10" vspace="1"> Be a part of the nation's competition of top masons at MCAA's annual Fastest Trowel Competition, a masonry competition that highlights the speed, skills and craftsmanship of a journeyman mason. Only those with the skills, confidence and courage to face-off with the industry's best are invited to compete.

The winner of the contest will take home $5,000 in cash and prizes, 2nd and 3rd place competitors will take home $2,500 and $1,000 respectively. We only have 16 slots available on a first come first serve basis for those who are up to the challenge to prove they are the best!

Below are the contest rules and application form. If you are interested in participating, please fax in your application forms or call Colin Faul at (800) 536-2225 to register. Registration fees are $250 and must be paid at time of registration to confirm attendance. Further information on meeting locations, schedules and contestant check lists will be sent after contestants are confirmed.

Do you think you can compete among the best masons in the nation? Then here's your chance to prove yourself to your peers. The competition starts at 9:00am Friday, April 22, 2005. Family, friends and industry members are welcome to come and cheer on their favorite teams. Come and show them what you've got!
