Sioux VP Earns Global Certification

Words: Don KrullPeter Finger, Vice President of International Sales for Sioux Corporation was recently named a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP). Mr. Finger is the second person in the state of South Dakota to obtain this certification, which is granted after passing a difficult and comprehensive three-hour examination of 150 questions. This certification indicates proven competencies in global business, and assures understanding of a broad range of areas involved in international commerce.

The test is broken down into four main areas: (1) global business management, (2) global marketing, (3) supply chain management, and (4) trade finance.

The examination and credentials are granted by NASBITE (North American Small Business International Trade Educators). NASBITE International is a professional organization for the global business community. NASBITE'S mission is to advance global business practice, education, and training.
